Abbey College Birmingham is situated close to Birmingham City Centre and provides a broad curriculum at GCSE and A-Level for students aged 14 years and above. Students are taught in small groups, to intensify learning and supported well in independent living and learning skills. The college expects students to be industrious and to adopt a mature attitude to studying. |

Rachel Borland, Principal Rachel joined Abbey College with a strong track record of leading successful international schools worldwide. Her background spans the UK, The Middle East, Hong Kong and Africa, where most recently she headed a renowned international boarding school in Nigeria. Rachel has also worked extensively in the university sector in the UK. Rachel took up the post of Principal in August 2012 at a time when the college received outstanding A-Level and GCSE results. She is excited to be leading such a successful college and optimistic that together with a highly dedicated and experienced staff body she can grow the college into a centre of excellence. |
