The Falcons School for Boys

The Falcons School for Boys, previously known as Falkner House Boys, was founded in 1956. It is a preparatory school for 3 – 13 year old boys split across two sites. The Nursery and Pre Prep is in Chiswick and the Prep a short distance away in Richmond.

The two sites enable facilities and expertise to be geared to the specific age groups. The school is a constant hive of activity, inspiring boys in their learning and providing the very highest level of pastoral care. Boys are prepared for entry to the leading day and boarding schools in the country.

Andrew Forbes, Headmaster (Pre Preparatory)

Andrew Forbes studied English Literature and HistoryAndrew Forbes, Headmaster, The Falcons School for Boys at the University of South Africa after completing a three year Diploma in Education. Having grown up in Zimbabwe he moved to London in 2005, and has gained more than half of his UK teaching experience with Alpha Plus Group.  Having been in Senior Management since the age of 28 he has held many posts of responsibility and has a rich tapestry of senior management experience, including as Deputy Headmaster at The Falcons School for Boys. An ex-Zimbabwe school boy’s rugby player, Andrew enjoys fitness related sporting activities and the outdoors. 

Deon Etzinger, Headmaster (Preparatory)

 After completing a Higher Diploma in Education at The Deon Etzinger, Headmaster, The Falcons School for BoysJohannesburg College of Education, Deon Etzinger graduated from The University of South Africa where he studied English and Education. He has many years of experience in primary and secondary education and he has worked in the state and private sectors. Before being appointed as Headmaster at The Falcons he was Deputy Headmaster and he has an in-depth knowledge of the school and its development. He has a wide range of interests and exploring foreign destinations rates as one of his passions.
